Cannes 2024: Nancy Tyagi makes debut in 20kg pink gown: ‘Took 30 days, 1,000 meters of fabric’

During the lockdown, Nancy became famous for churning out content showcasing her unique pieces modelled based on high fashion couture.

Delhi-based fashion influencer Nancy Tyagi marked her red carpet debut in a pink ruffled gown with an elaborate train at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, designed and stitched by herself. She stated that the ensemble took over 1,000 meters of fabric and an entire month to finish.

The soft pink gown had a strapless sequinned bodice paired with elbow-high gloves. Tyagi completed her look with a dainty silver necklace from CaratLane and slightly tonged tresses. She kept it fresh and dewy with a pale pink lip and bold eyeliner courtesy of the Indian makeup brand Mars Cosmetics.

Nancy has made it from the humble village of Baranwa, Uttar Pradesh, to the iconic red carpet at the French Riviera.
